The male frigate bird, whose species is found in tropical locations throughout the Pacific, Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean regions, has a special way of attracting females. When he spots a female frigate bird, he will blow up his neck pouch, which is filled with air and looks like a balloon. The male will then proceed to flap his wings and make noises to get the female’s attention.
